Tutorial: How To Add A Grab-It Button To Your Sidebar.

Hey Everyone!
Today I have a tutorial for you guys ;)  I'm going to be showing you how to add someone else's grab-it button to your sidebar.  This is pretty simple once you know how, but it took me a while to figure out how to do it, and I've had a few people ask we about how to do it ;)  So, here we go.

First, go to the blog who's button you want to add to your sidebar.
Look for the little drop box under the button (the orange arrow is pointing to the one in this picture).

There is a little code in this drop box.  Make sure to scroll all the way to the bottom of the box so you don't miss any of the code.

Copy the WHOLE code.

*Don't forget to get the whole thing, starting at the bottom!

Next, go to blogger, and then go to Layout for the blog you want to add the button to.

On the side, you'll see a button that says, "Add a Gadget".
Click that button.

It will take you to a list of different gadgets.  Scroll down until you see the yellow one that says "HTML/JavaScript"
Click the blue letters that say "HTML/JavaScript".

After you click that, it will take you here.
In the little box where it says "Title", type the name of the blog who's button you are adding (or whatever else you want to put.  This text will appear in the sidebar right above the actual button.  You can also leave it blank if you wish.)

In the box where it says "Content", paste the code that you copied from the drop box earlier.

Then go to the bottom of the page.  Here there are 3 buttons that say "Save", "Cancel", and "Back.
Click on the orange "Save" button.

Now you will see the title of the button that you just added, right under the "Add a Gadget" button.

If you would like to change the button so it is located under your other gadgets, you can hold the mouse down over it and drag it to where you want it to be.

After you are satisfied with where the button is, go to the top right corner of the page and click the orange "Save Arrangement" button.

This little box will pop up telling you that your changes have been saved.  Click on the blue letters that say "View Blog" to see how your button looks.

TA-DA!  And it's as simple as that ;)
*By the way, the beautiful blog pictured in this tutorial is A Girl by Elly.
Make sure to check out her blog, and grab her button using this tutorial ;)
